David Icke, o caça-reptilóides

Icke returned to the limelight in the late 1990s with a book, The Biggest Secret: The Book That Will Change the World. In it he claimed to have discovered that the world was being run by a New World Order, controlled by a race of reptilian humanoids or reptiloid aliens (he does not state what exactly they are, only giving possible explanations

"My own resaerch [sic] suggests that it is from another dimension, the lower fourth dimension, that the reptilian control and manipulation is primarily orchestrated. ...
Other people know this as the lower astral dimension, the legendary home of demons and malevolent antities [sic] in their black magic rituals.... ").
According to Icke, their 'hybrid reptilian-human DNA' allows some of these aliens to change from reptilian to human form if they can consume human blood, and he has even drawn parallels with the 1980s science fiction series V, in which Earth is taken over by reptiloid aliens disguised as humans.

Michael Barkun, in his 2003 study of conspiracy theory subculture, A Culture of Conspiracy: Apocalyptic Visions in Contemporary America, writes that Icke is "the most fluent of conspiracy authors, which gives his writings a clarity rarely found in the genre."

The group, known as the Babylonian Brotherhood, implicates practically every world leader from Britain's late Queen Mother to Bill Clinton as either a reptilian, or working for them (he suggests that they are slave-like victims of multiple personality disorder).

"The Rothschilds, Rockefellers, the British royal family, and the ruling political and economic families of the US and the rest of the world come from these SAME bloodlines.
...
It is not because of snobbery, it is to hold as best they can a genetic structure - the reptilian-mammalian DNA combination which allows them to "shape-shift".
You will also see references on the site to "shape-shifting", the phenomena in which witnesses have reported seeing people (most often those in positions of power), transform before their eyes, from a human form to a reptilian one and then back again.
...
Former US president, President George Herbert Walker Bush, incidentally, is mentioned more than any other person in my experience in relation to shape-shifting."
The evidence for this is often considered absurd by non-adherents; for instance, his apparent claim that the car-rental company Avis is a front for the Brotherhood because Avis spelled backwards is Siva, a member of the Hindu pantheon. However, his supporters tend to concentrate on the volume of other evidence he presents, such as the recurrence of the reptilian archetype in myths worldwide.

For example, the Ancient Sumerians worshipped apparently reptilian gods called the Anunnaki, and the Ancient Maya of Mexico claim that all their knowledge of the heavens came from their god of wisdom and astrology, Kukulcan, sometimes depicted in Maya art as a reptilian humanoid with a crest of feathers on his head (this god later became the Aztec god, the Plumed Serpent, Quetzalcoatl). The ancient Egyptians believed that the sun was swallowed by a snake in the evening and traveled through its bowels at night to return the next morning. Dragons played significant roles in both European and Asian culture. Judeo-Christian religion contains the concept of the 'serpent' introducing an innocent Adam and Eve to original sin and causing their fall from Paradise, and snake handling is part of some Christian sects' worship.

Icke links all of his data, both from mainstream sources, and from speculation, together into a set of grand conspiracy theories. The sheer volume of his writings, and the interconnectedness of his ideas, are enough to convince many of his supporters that "something must be going on". They regard skeptics as being either ill-informed or as stooges of the conspiracy.

He has since published a number of additional books following this theme at various levels of detail, the first being too large to be read by most casual readers. His latest work continues in this thread, an attempt to explain the September 11, 2001 attacks as being a part of this reptile-led conspiracy, with the reptiloid George W. Bush playing the key role.

Thanks for all you've done
I've missed you for so long
I can't believe you're gone
You still live in me
I feel you in the wind
You guide me constantly

I've never knew what it was to be alone, no
Cause you were always there for me
You were always home waiting
And now I come home and I miss your face so
Smiling down on me
I close my eyes to see

And I know, you're a part of me
And it's your song that sets me free
I sing it while I feel I can't hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me

I carry the things that remind me of you
In loving memory of
The one that was so true
You were as kind as you could be
And even though you're gone
You still mean the world to me

I've never knew what it was to be alone, no
Cause you were always there for me
You were always home waiting
But now I come home and it's not the same, no
It feels empty and alone
I can't believe you're gone

And I know, you're a part of me
And it's your song that sets me free
I sing it while I feel I can't hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me

I'm glad he set you free from sorrow
I'll still love you more tomorrow
And you will be here with me still

All you did you did with feeling
And You always found the meaning
And you always will
And you always will
And you always will

And I know, you're a part of me
And it's your song that sets me free
I sing it while I feel I can't hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me

Forgetfulness

Forgetfulness is like a song
That, freed from beat and measure, wanders.
Forgetfulness is like a bird whose wings are reconciled,
Outspread and motionless, --
A bird that coasts the wind unwearyingly.

Forgetfulness is rain at night,
Or an old house in a forest, -- or a child.
Forgetfulness is white, -- white as a blasted tree,
And it may stun the sybil into prophecy,
Or bury the Gods.

I can remember much forgetfulness.

Holy fuck.

LOVERS

Oh miserable patrons of the concert hall,
I watch you as you listen to a piano piece
Ostensibly playing it on the arms of your seat
With fingers twisted, aching and arthritic,
Aping, poor wretches, the distinguished soloist
On stage or, further back, the famous composer,
Ostensibly playing the tune, beating the rhythm
Conducting it for all the world with head or foot.

Truth to tell, what frustrated composers or soloists we all are;
And indeed what frustrated lovers
– In spite of all the loves we may have known – ;
Frustrated yes, but not resigned, playing as we do
Into our ripe old age on the arms of our seat
Or even on the wood of our last bed, the same old tune
Like an answer to a dream long unfulfilled
And on matter that fails to respond to our fingers.

is the founder of the Unification Church (established on May 1, 1954, in Seoul, South Korea). With his wife Hak Ja Han, he is co-leader of the Unification Movement.

Moon's followers see him as a new Messiah, the second coming of Christ, commissioned by Jesus to complete the divine mission of establishing the Kingdom of God on earth. Opponents regard him as a cult leader convicted of tax crimes.

In 2003, Rev. Moon announced that the representatives of the five major religions — as well as several dozen dead U.S. presidents communicating from the Spirit World — declared him to be "the savior and messiah of humanity".

In March 2004, at an awards banquet attended by US congressmen, a top Moon aide called Mr. and Mrs. Moon "the King and the Queen of Peace!"

General Idi Amin Dada Oumee (May 17, 1928? - August 16, 2003) was the military dictator of Uganda from January 25, 1971, to April 13, 1979.

Idi Amin was born in the Kakwa tribe, near Koboko in the West Nile Arua district. The year is not known, due to a lack of birth records (sources suggest anything from 1923 to 1928). Some sources suggest he may have celebrated his birthday on January 1. He was brought up by his mother, who was thought to be a witch doctor, and received little formal education.

Amin took tribalism, a long-standing problem in Uganda, to its extreme by ordering the persecution of Acholi, Lango, and other tribes. There are reports of the tortures and murders of 100,000 to 300,000 Ugandans during Amin's presidency.

Amin fled to exile, first in Libya, where sources are divided on whether he remained until December 1979, or 1989, before finding final asylum in Saudi Arabia. He opened a bank account in Jeddah in 1979, and resided there with his four wives until his death, subsisting on a government stipend. The new Ugandan government chose to keep him exiled, saying that Amin would face war crimes charges if he ever returned.

On July 20, 2003, his favorite wife reported that he was near death in a coma at the King Faisal specialist hospital in Jeddah. She pleaded with Uganda's president Yoweri Museveni that he might return to die in Uganda. The reply was that if he returned, he would have to "answer for his sins". Idi Amin died in Saudi Arabia on August 16, 2003, and was buried in Jeddah.

On August 17, 2003 David Owen told an interviewer for BBC Radio 4 that while he was British Foreign Secretary (1977-1979) he had suggested to have Amin assassinated to end his regime of terror. His idea was directly rejected. Owen said "Amin's regime was the worst of all. It's a shame that we allowed him to keep in power for so long".

Demasiados sospechosos.

O que vamos fazer amanhã
neste caso de amor desesperado?
ouvir música romântica
ou trepar pelas paredes acima?

amarfanhar-nos numa cadeira
ou ficar fixamente diante

o que vamos fazer amanhã

que não seja um ajuste de contas?
o que vamos fazer amanhã
do que mais se sonhou ou morreu?
numa esquina talvez te atropelem,

num relvado talvez me fuzilem
o teu corpo talvez seja meu,
mas que vamos fazer amanhã

(quero o Tempeste)

Enver Hoxha [en-vehr hoj-e]

(October 16, 1908–April 11, 1985) was the communist leader of Albania from the end of World War II until his death, primarily as the First Secretary of the Albanian Party of Labour. He was also prime minister of Albania from 1944 to 1954 and the Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1946 to 1953. Under Hoxha, whose rule was characterized by isolation from the rest of Europe and firm adherence to Stalinism, Albania emerged from semi-feudalism to become an industrialized state.

Hoxha was dismissed from his teaching post following the 1939 Italian invasion of World War II for refusing to join the Albanian Fascist Party. He opened a tobacco shop in Tiranë where soon a small communist group started gathering. He was helped by Yugoslav communists to found and become leader of the Albanian Communist Party (called Party of Labour afterwards) in November 1941, as well as the resistance movement (National Liberation Army), which took power in November 1944.

Hoxha declared himself an orthodox Marxist-Leninist and strongly admired Joseph Stalin. He adopted the model of the Soviet Union and severed relations with his former Yugoslav communist allies following their ideological breach with Moscow in 1948. He had defence minister Koçi Xoxe (pron. Kochi Dzodze) executed a year later for alleged pro-Yugoslav activities.

Hoxha confiscated farmland from wealthy landowners and consolidated it into collective farms (Cooperatives) that eventually enabled Albania to become almost completely self-sufficient in food crops. He also developed the industry and brought electricity to most rural areas, and epidemics of disease and illiteracy were stamped out. Worried about an invasion from the Soviet bloc, Italy or the United States, from 1950 Hoxha authorised the construction of thousands of one-man concrete bunkers across the country, to act as look outs and gun emplacements, possibly numbering in excess of 500,000.

In 1967, following two decades of progressively harsher persecution of religion under his rule, Hoxha triumphantly declared his nation to be the first atheist state in history. Partially inspired by China's Cultural Revolution, he proceeded to confiscate mosques, churches, monasteries, and shrines. Many were immediately razed, others turned into machine shops, warehouses, stables, and movie theaters. Parents were forbidden to give their children religious names. Anyone caught with the Qur'an, Bibles, icons, or religious objects faced long prison sentences. In the south, where the ethnic Greek population was concentrated, villages named after saints were given secular names.

According to a landmark Amnesty International report published in 1984 Albania's human rights record was dismal under Hoxha. The regime denied its citizens freedom of expression, religion, movement, and association although the constitution of 1976 ostensibly guaranteed each of these rights. In fact, certain clauses in the constitution effectively circumscribed the exercise of political liberties that the regime interpreted as contrary to the established order. In addition, the regime tried to deny the population access to information other than that disseminated by the government-controlled media. The Sigurimi routinely violated the privacy of persons, homes, and communications and made arbitrary arrests. The courts ensured that verdicts were rendered from the party's political perspective rather than affording due process to the accused, who were occasionally sentenced without even the formality of a trial.

Later, Hoxha withdrew into semiretirement and turned most state functions over to Ramiz Alia. Hoxha's death on April 11, 1985 led to some relaxation in internal and foreign policies under his successor Ramiz Alia, as communist party rule weakened throughout Eastern Europe, culminating in Albania's abandonment of one-party rule in 1990 and the reformed Socialist Party's defeat in the 1992 elections.
Garland Greene: What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn’t you consider that to be insane?
Keating: Now I'd like you to step forward over here. They're not that different from you, are they? Same haircuts. Full of hormones, just like you. Invincible, just like you feel. The world is their oyster. They believe they're destined for great things, just like many of you, their eyes are full of hope, just like you. Did they wait until it was too late to make from their lives even one iota of what they were capable? Because, you see gentlemen, these boys are now fertilizing daffodils. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? --- Carpe --- hear it? --- Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary.
Harry: I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle in your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

Harry: You were going to be a gymnast.
Sally: A journalist.
Harry: Right, that's what I said.

---xxx---

Sally: Well, if you must know, it was because he was very jealous, and I had these days of the week underpants.
Harry: Ehhhh! I'm sorry. I need the judges ruling on this. "Days of the weeks underpants"?
Sally: Yes. They had the days of the week on them, and I thought they were sort of funny. And then one day Sheldon says to me, "You never wear Sunday." It was all suspicious. Where was Sunday? Where had I left Sunday? And I told him, and he didn't believe me.
Harry: What?
Sally: They don't make Sunday.
Harry: Why not?
Sally: Because of God.

Jean-Bedel Bokassa[zhAN-bedel´ bOkAs´sA]

1921–96, president of Central African Republic (1966–79). He served (1939–61) in the French army, then organized his country's army, becoming commander in chief in 1963. In 1966 he led an army coup against President David Dacko, becoming president and prime minister of the republic. Declared president for life in 1972, he crowned himself "emperor" of the so-called Central African Empire in 1977. Erratic and violent, he was overthrown by a French-supported coup (1979) that reinstated Dacko as president. Bokassa lived in exile in France and COte d'Ivoire, returning to the Central African Republic in 1987. He was arrested and charged with torture, murder, and cannibalism. Convicted of murdering several political opponents, Bokassa was sentenced to death, but that was later commuted to life in prison. He was released in 1993.

For his civility.

We passed the school where children played,
Their lessons scarcely done;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun.

We paused before a house that seemed
A swelling of the ground;
The roof was scarcely visible,
The cornice but a mound.

Since then 'tis centuries; but each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity.

The Full Monty, dos raríssimos filmes rotulados como "comédia" que me prenderam ao sofá e ao copo.
Ya no seré feliz. Tal vez no importa.
Hay tantas otras cosas en el mundo;

y me quitaste debe ser borrada;

"Inner Silence
Burn the beauty you proclaim I have
And erase the sorrow that it caused alone
See through it all and reach the being
That cries, alone, within my heart.
Sip my bitter tears, so you'll understand their reason
Look into my eyes and read my eternal silence
Melt the ice which covers my heart
And make my smile reborn in me."

Take the little horse out of the rain quanto à comparação da nossa condução, em estrada, cidade ou no meio do mato... aos 40 voltamos a falar!
A Cork Radio Station (in Ireland), 96 FM, was running a competition to find
contestants who could come up with words that were not found in any English
Dictionary yet could still use these words in a sentence that would make
logical sense. The prize was a trip to Bali for a week.

The DJ, Neil, had many callers; the following two standing out:

DJ: 96FM, what's your name?
Caller: Hi, me name's Dave.
DJ: Dave, what is your word?
Caller: Goan spelt G O A N, pronounced "go-an"
DJ: We are just checking that (pause) and you are correct, Dave, Goan is
certainly a word not found in the English Dictionary. Now the next
question, for a trip for two to Bali, is, what sentence can you use that in
that would make logical sense?
Caller: GOAN fuck yourself!
At this point the DJ cuts the caller short and announces that there is no
place for that sort of language on a family show.

After many more unsuccessful calls the DJ takes the following caller:

DJ: 96FM, what's your name?
Caller: Hi, me name's Jeff.
DJ: Jeff, what is your word?
Caller: Smee spelt S M E E, pronounced "smee".
DJ: We are checking that (pause) and you are correct, Jeff, Smee is
certainly a word not found in the English Dictionary. Now the next
question, for a trip for two to Bali, is, what sentence can you use that in
that would make logical sense?

Caller: SMEE again! GOAN fuck yourself!"

Rejoice for Marja

Throats skyward, aerials to storm
Sing not, see so many
Galaxies and her Goddess smile
Beyond utterance.
Where no commoner soul dwells

Where no commoner soul dwells
mighty pastures ebb and flow
there a yearning stepped and fell
at the gates of silent love.

So when he fell
Pierced by many a bolt
Great wounds to his side
Apparition
A pristine flower in silver and moon
And the women
Wailed
for seven days
I presume these pints to mark that count.

Children forlorn, victims of the Daimon within
Oaths made in Violence, punishment in turn
There is no Light to guide me on my long and painful Road
I wait in Silence, I wait for Death with the last of this Day´s Sun...

Broken Wings, Blood freed upon the air
A Trampled Marriage Bed
The Father sees, his Gods cry out, the Flesh spills down
And Judgement Kills the Crime

Gods of the Dead bring me my Life back again
I´m fallin´, I´m callin´
Gods of the Dead don´t let me die unavenged
I´m fallin´, I´m callin´
I won´t be here to see them Mourning... Enter the Night...

Emblems of Prophecy, I throw them all away
Drink the Fire of the Pitiless God...
When the Blood of Death has fallen, who can call it back
To the Form that it once held

Gods of the Dead bring me my Life back again
I´m fallin´, I´m callin´
Gods of the Dead don´t let me die unavenged
I´m fallin´, I´m callin´
And the Dead will taste a deeper Treasure than Youth or Life

Bury me beside the Endless Sea, raise my Ashes to the Wind
Remember me when Falls another Life, Quench my Funeral Pyre with Wine ...

Tentador, alguém? ;)

Fica o convite, anyone, anything?

O gajo começa a recuar.
O Zé retém a têmpera heróica e continua a avançar.

DÁ-ME CÁ O CALHAU, sublinho eu!

Thermopylae

The Battle of Thermopylae took place during the Greece-Persia war in roughly the 5th century BC. Some 30 city-states of central and southern Greece met in Corinth to devise a common defense (others, including the oracle at Delphi, sided with the Persians). They agreed on a combined army and navy under Spartan command, with the Athenian leader Themistokles providing the strategy. The Spartan king Leonidas led the army to the pass at Thermopylae, near present-day Lamia, the main passage from northern into central Greece.

One of the best points at which to hold off an invader was at Thermopylae, a narrow valley adjacent to the sea. The attacker could not pass to the seaward side, and to go inland would mean a significant detour. Other armies could risk this, but Xerxes could not.

On the other hand, a defender could take a stand with comparatively few men. A wall had once been built here, and a small fort. The Greeks rebuilt the wall and waited.

The Greek strategy was to delay the land force and to defeat the Persians at sea, then starve the Persian army. It should have worked, but from the beginning everything seemed to go wrong.

To begin with, the Greek army was surprised to see the Persians arrive so soon. They had hoped to get more reinforcements. On the other side, Xerxes had excellent information and knew that the Greeks were waiting for him. He set up camp on the plain below the pass. He was confident, but the army was so large that it could not afford to wait in any one place for very long.

He sent scouts up the valley to ascertain the nature of the opposition. The Spartans had duty on the outside wall, where they were waiting watchfully. The scouts were astounded to see the Spartans doing calisthenics and braiding their hair. Xerxes could not believe they intended to fight against hopeless odds. He announced his presence and waited four days for them to leave.

The Greeks did not leave. Exasperated, and aware of his supply situation, Xerxes ordered an attack on the fifth day. He sent the Medes against the Greeks, ordering Spartans be taken alive, so confident he was of easy victory.

The Spartans retreated, running away, even to the point of turning their backs on the enemy. The Medes, sure that they were winning the victory they had expected, broke ranks to pursue, whereupon the Spartans turned and fought savagely. After sharp fighting, the Medes were defeated.

Xerxes now sent in the Immortals, his best troops. The Spartans employed the same strategy, with the same results. Xerxes was furious. Another day's fighting yielded no better for the Persians.

The fighting was all the more remarkable in that the Greeks had failed utterly in the sea battle and the Persians had complete control of the sea. The sole purpose now for the battle was to delay the inevitable as long as possible.

At this point, treachery undid their heroic efforts.

Ephialtes, a man from Malis, went to King Xerxes and told him that he knew of a goat path that went around the Greek position and debouched behind their lines. After initial skepticism, Xerxes discovered the man was telling the truth. He made his preparations.

The Greeks knew of the path, of course. There were, in fact, more than one path, winding among the mountains. The men of Phocis were posted on the most likely path, but the Persians slipped past them by way of a different path under cover of night.

The Greeks learned of the treachery near morning. They would barely have time to escape from the trap. Leonidas told the other Greeks to return home, to fight another day, but the Spartans stayed. The Thespians and Thebans joined them. There were no more than a few thousand who stayed.

Greeks knew they were about to die and they fought all the more fiercely for it. The Spartans put up the stoutest resistance, taking their stand on a little hill and fighting in a circle facing outward with enemies all around.

When Leonidas was killed, he was some distance away. Some of the Spartans formed a tight group, fought their way to his body, picked it up, then fought their way back to the main group on the hill.

The Persians seemed utterly unable to annihilate the last 300 Spartans. They demanded the body of Leonidas in return for the Spartan's lives, but the men refused to abandon the body of their King, declaring: "A Spartan leaves the field with his shield or upon it"

At last, the Spartans were killed by a hail of spears and arrows, the Persians fearing to close with these fearsome warriors.

The Greeks lost the battle. They had come hoping for a victory and instead had been routed. But Thermopylae was always hailed as a triumph for Greek arms because the Persian army was crucially delayed.

Thermopylae allowed the Greeks time to organize. The Athenians continued to build their ships in order to take control of the seas again.

The Greeks were actually heartened by the example of Leonidas and the 300 Spartans plus allies who fought at Thermopylae. The battle served as an example to officers and soldiers alike of what courage and self-sacrifice could achieve. It is still remembered today as such an example.

I am the one who has been hated everywhere
and who has been loved everywhere.
I am the one whom they call Life,
and you have called Death.
I am the one whom they call Law,
and you have called Lawlessness.
I am the one whom you have pursued,
and I am the one whom you have seized.
I am the one whom you have scattered,
and you have gathered me together.
I am the one before whom you have been ashamed,
and you have been shameless to me.
I am she who does not keep festival,
and I am she whose festivals are many.
I, I am godless,
and I am the one whose God is great.
I am the one whom you have reflected upon,
and you have scorned me.
I am unlearned,
and they learn from me.
I am the one that you have despised,
and you reflect upon me.
I am the one whom you have hidden from,
and you appear to me.
But whenever you hide yourselves,
I myself will appear.
For whenever you appear,
I myself will hide from you.

Have you got faith enough to throw the first stone
Are you my flame when only darkness prevails
Are you my white whale, the hammer for my nails tonight

Show me Show me Show me how you do that trick
The one that makes me scream she said
The one that makes me laugh she said
And threw her arms around my neck
Show me how you do it
And I promise you I promise that
I’ll run away with you
I’ll run away with you
Spinning on that dizzy edge
I kissed her face and kissed her head
And dreamed of all the different ways I had
To make her glow
Why are you so far away? she said
Why won’t you ever know that I’m in love with you
That I’m in love with you

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Strange as angels
Dancing in the deepest oceans
Twisting in the water
You’re just like a dream

Daylight licked me into shape
I must have been asleep for days
And moving lips to breathe her name
I opened up my eyes
And found myself alone alone
Alone above a raging sea
That stole the only girl I loved
And drowned her deep inside of me

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Just like heaven
The fire still burns.
Sursum vino, veritas.

Comfortably Numb. Nunca mais vou viver.

Nada rompia o domínio hermético do vermelho.

“I DISPOIS USPRÊTÉQUIFAIZ MAL PRU PAÍS”
“CALATÓ ESCARUMBA DE MERDA CALATÓ ESCARUMBA DE MERDA”
As obras prosseguiam a ritmo normal.

Crianças a correr. Flatliners?

O sol e as árvores. Desculpa mas vêm-me canções à idéia.

Abraço a brisa.

Quem faria arder a chama?

Thanks for all you’ve done
I’ve missed you for so long
I can’t believe you’re gone
You still live in me
I feel you in the wind
You guide me constantly

I’ve never knew what it was to be alone, no
Cause you were always there for me
You were always there waiting
And ill come home and I miss your face so
Smiling down on me
I close my eyes to see

And I know, you’re a part of me
And it’s your song that sets me free
I sing it while I feel I can’t hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me

I carry the things that remind me of you
In loving memory of
The one that was so true
Your were as kind as you could be
And even though you’re gone
You still mean the world to me

I’ve never knew what it was to be alone, no
Cause you were always there for me
You were always there waiting
But now I come home and it’s not the same, no
It feels empty and alone
I can’t believe you’re gone

And I know, you’re a part of me
And it’s your song that sets me free
I sing it while I feel I can’t hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me

I’m glad he set you free from sorrow
I’ll still love you more tomorrow
And you will be here with me still

And what you did you did with feeling
And You always found the meaning
And you always will
And you always will
And you always will

And I know, you’re a part of me
And it’s your song that sets me free
I sing it while I feel I can’t hold on
I sing tonight cause it comforts me

AND DREAMS PALED

No sooner had I learned to
get along without
than I happened to think:
I will not give up this person,

And the sheets burst into bloom.
This is reality, he said,
and dreams paled.

So that was the kind of force
behind those civilized glances
that for years
we gave each other.

On The Move
The satiated day is never the greatest.
The best day is a day of thirst.

There is probably purpose and meaning in our journey
but it is the pathway there, which is worth our while.

The greatest aim is a night long rest,
where the fire is lit and the bread broken in haste.

In the place, where you sleep but once,
sleep becomes safe and the dream full of song.

Move on, move on! The new day is dawning.
Endless is our great adventure.

- Karin Boye
Light breaks where no sun shines;
Where no sea runs, the waters of the heart
Push in their tides;
And, broken ghosts with glow-worms in their heads,
The things of light
File through the flesh where no flesh decks the bones.

A candle in the thighs
Warms youth and seed and burns the seeds of age;
Where no seed stirs,
The fruit of man unwrinkles in the stars,
Bright as a fig;
Where no wax is, the candle shows its hairs.

Dawn breaks behind the eyes;
From poles of skull and toe the windy blood
Slides like a sea;
Nor fenced, nor staked, the gushers of the sky
Spout to the rod
Divining in a smile the oil of tears.

Night in the sockets rounds,
Like some pitch moon, the limit of the globes;
Day lights the bone;
Where no cold is, the skinning gales unpin
The winter's robes;
The film of spring is hanging from the lids.

Light breaks on secret lots,
On tips of thought where thoughts smell in the rain;
When logics dies,
The secret of the soil grows through the eye,
And blood jumps in the sun;
Above the waste allotments the dawn halts.

- Dylan Thomas

maggie and milly and molly and may
went down to the beach(to play one day)

and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn't remember her troubles, and

milly befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;

and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles:and

may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone.

For whatever we lose(like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea

- e.e. cummings
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

LISBON, Portugal (AP) - Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari bought land and a house in Indonesia on behalf of the team for a seven-year-old tsunami survivor found wearing a Portugal soccer sweater, SIC TV network reported on Sunday.

Martunis survived alone for 19 days before he was found on a Banda Aceh beach. He survived by drinking puddle water and eating dried noodles after his parents were swept by the tsunami, and at a hospital he was reunited with his father and grandfather.

Touched by the story, Scolari spent Sunday at SIC TV network trying to help the family.

"After I saw those images I knew we had to take an immediate stand," Scolari told the network. "He is an example for us all. I would like to bring him over to watch a Portugal game so we could show him how touched and happy we are that someone can live for 19 days like he did, wearing our sweater, our symbol."

The money was channeled through the president of the Portuguese soccer federation, Gilberto Madail, SIC reported.

Health Officials: World Nears Flu Pandemic
By YEOH EN-LAI, AP

SINGAPORE (AP) - Health officials warned Monday that the world was close to its
next pandemic - a powerful and highly contagious mix of avian influenza and flu
virus that would likely be centered in Asia.

Authorities also warned that humans, and not animals as initially thought,
would probably be the carriers.

"We are getting closer, but when it's going to happen, I don't know," said
Francois Xavier-Meslin, the World Health Organization's coordinator for disease
control, prevention and eradication.

"If it happens, which is not yet proven, it's going to be worse than SARS," he
said at a task force meeting on bird flu led by the Association of Southeast
Asian Nations. "A full-blown flu virus, you can transmit easily to people in
your family or people you work with. It's a very highly contagious disease
compared to SARS."

The H5N1 bird flu virus killed 32 people in Thailand and Vietnam this year,
while SARS - Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome - killed 774 and infected nearly
8,000, mostly in Asia, in 2003.

Both outbreaks caused widespread economic losses throughout the region.

Meslin said the proximity of high-tech farms and backyard operations, coupled
with high human-to-animal contact, could spur another outbreak of avian
influenza in Asia.

WHO had warned previously that bird flu mixed with a human flu virus could
spread rapidly and cause as many as 7 million deaths.

"Asia is an area with very high poultry density, human density. Asia has always
been a center of flu, so all these factors come together," said Hans Wagner of
the Food and Agriculture Organization.

Officials, including those from Japan, China and South Korea, were discussing
ways to increase bird flu surveillance and inter-agency reporting between
countries.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, comprises Malaysia,
Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Cambodia,
Laos and Myanmar.

Flowers of evil shiver on the firing line
Whose face can please me now?
Boundless queen of Babylon, she rides above the sky,
I'm a devil, I'm an angel
The lights are getting brighter now,
Bold enough to slay your prayers
Unholy water you tell me the truth,
You tell me the lies
Unholy water you resurrect you crucify,
Take me down now
Leave if you're leavin', stay if you have the right
I've never been so alone, as I am with you tonight
The funeral season grows, I'm an angel, I'm a devil
Where did it go so wrong?
Close your eyes and say goodbye
Unholy water you're bringing me down,to live is to die
Unholy water the ending is clean, the ending is now
Unholy water the rapture is mine, I drown in your slime
Unholy water you're deep in it now, you're tasting it all
Unholy water
Unholy water one last caress, then solitude
Unholy water you're feeling it now, I never denied
Unholy water when love turns to hate with Satan you mate
Unholy water drown in the tears, a shadow of fear,
The ending, the ending is now
Unholy water her breasts where full, her hair was wept
Unholy water around her throat the Serpent crept
Unholy water she utters the truth, she utters lies
Unholy water she resurrects, she crucifies
